The Company

“OSIELEC” Stone Mine Ltd. is an opencast mine producing and offering crushed-stone aggregate made of Magura sandstone. The Osielec deposit is represented by the Magura sandstone of the muscovite facies. It is situated in the Beskid Makowski on the Skawa river in the flysch Carpathians in the part called the Magura nappe. The Magura sandstone of the muscovite facies can be characterised with pretty stable and good physical-chemical parameters, they are ecologically clean.
We have a modern processing plant that, thanks to our experienced staff, allows us for maintaining good quality of produced aggregate and high efficiency of the plant. The high-quality aggregate that we produce is used in road and general construction. The quality of our production range is constantly inspected by the plant laboratory and certified, independent laboratories. We always try to satisfy expectations and requirements of our Customers assuring as good as possible image of our Company.
On January 04, 2008, 100% of our Company shares were purchased from its private owner, Olsztyńskie Kopalnie Surowców Mineralnych, a part of the Irish CRH. OKSM means nearly 40 years of tradition and experience in aggregate industry in Poland. Thanks to sufficient financial investments and being a part of the international concern, we can realise plans related to strengthening of our position of aggregate manufacturer in the Polish market.
